Develop high-performance software, applications and drivers for a new class of storage with embedded compute capability. Modification of embedded controller firmware for an innovative non-volatile memory system with advanced storage and compute capabilities; Assist in evaluating, designing, and building application environments and interface protocols for new high-performance storage products based on SoC and FPGA designs; Work closely with firmware engineers, firmware test engineers, ASIC engineers, system hardware design engineers, product engineers, and production engineers to solve cross-functional design issues; Demonstrate functionality and trouble-shoot implementation issues with prospects requiring computational storage capability; and application development on Intel CPUs (Pentium and Xeon) using Microsoft or Linux operating systems. Limited domestic and international travel, up to 15 days total annually, to perform demos and implement systems at customer sites, including debug.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or closely related field or foreign equivalent; Two years of experience in computer networking, including interconnect schemes, packet inspection and security protocols; Two years of direct experience performing administration tasks as well as developing applications and drivers in operating systems, including Microsoft, Unix, and Linux. One year of experience in using scripting and programming languages, including PERL, TCL and C/C++.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for working with NGD management to develop and implement a successful sales strategy for the complete line of NGD Systems products and solutions. The primary objective of this position will be to manage the technical sales collaboration with our customers Design, Platform, Infrastructure, and/or Product engineering teams. The target markets will include large established Internet and Cloud properties, CDN and content providers, AI/ ML technology providers, as well as established Enterprise and Edge end users. The successful candidate(s) will have storage experience and be self-motivated with a passion for success in bringing new technologies to market. This role will bring together exceptional sales skills and tactical excellence to meet and ultimately exceed aggressive revenue targets as part of the broader sales team.
Five or more years relevant experience working as part of a technical sales team calling on large established Internet and Cloud properties, CDN and content providers, AI/ML technology providers, as well as established Enterprise and Edge end users. Background in common Enterprise SW applications (database, search, SDS, etc.) or similar technical environment with strong preference to SSD based sales experience. Should include extensive demonstrable technical and sales skills showing history of individual development and relationship successes.
Significant knowledge and background in storage technologies, deployment models, and application spaces used in OEM and Enterprise environments.
Consistent delivery of exceptional results in a fast-paced, complex sales environment. Robust knowledge and understanding of both technical and sales process as well as customer psychology.
Substantiated history of successful customer interaction and results in technology markets.
Ability to efficiently track multiple, complex projects and relationships. Capable of adapting communication and style for individual needs to obtain peak performance and results.
